Sherlock: A Deliciously Peerless Name!

I mean, honestly - have you ever met a literal "Sherlock?" The man and his moniker are both irreplacable, one-of-a-kind, matchless, incredibly inimitable. I remember the grade school taunt "No dip, Sherlock!" (pronounced in the most haughtily condescending overtures humanly possible, of course) often made me lament both my unfortunate state in being pronounced thick-skulled and - more acutely - the degradation of a name that I held in almost the highest regard. As the popularity of the taunt faded and the demands of school/life increased, I lost touch with this peerless (fictional or not!) man. Fortunately, (!) I have recently renewed our relationship through the impeccable representation of Mr. Holmes by Jeremy Brett in the Granada TV show. (Its production is almost as immaculate as his character! On the whole, quite an amazing series.) I hope to continue to strengthen my acquaintance with this incomprehensibly brilliant observer of the human species and their environments. He is quite stimulating.

Oh, and Dr. Watson is a pretty cool chap too. For a sidekick.
