This is a folded Christmas tree I guess

It is excited on one half and full of "I's" on the other

Lame to be commenting on the tame monstrosities of a holiday

during the celebration but

I am.

And I will open my presents tomorrow and

be a bit excited and a bit selfish

and so will most of us.

But that aside, I must echo

the wishes of holiday greeting cards:

Merry Christmas! Hope the season is the reason

That you're being so nice

Otherwise I wouldn't know what to make of it all.

Actually that's not much of an echo of any card

I've read

I sort of made it mine.

Except for the Merry Christmas part;

can't claim that.
